Growing up in Bayport, New York on Long Island, baseball has always been a major part of my life. I began my collegiate career as a two-way player before transitioning to pitching full-time.
In 2022, I transferred to Hillsborough Community College, where I pitched in both starting and relief roles. I then continued my career at Seton Hall University, competing in the Big East Conference and earning my Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the Stillman School of Business.
During my senior year, I faced an injury that required an extensive rehabilitation process. While challenging, it gave me a deeper appreciation for the physical and mental side of recovery and helps me better connect with athletes working through similar obstacles.
After a redshirt season, I transferred to Saint Louis University, where I competed in the Atlantic 10 Conference and helped the team make a deep postseason run. Following college, I pitched professionally with the State College Spikes in the MLB Draft League and currently pitch for the Staten Island FerryHawks of the Atlantic League.
Throughout my journey, I've had the opportunity to learn from outstanding coaches, train alongside professional players, and experience a variety of coaching philosophies and training methods. My goal is to take everything I've learned and use it to help the next generation of athletes.
As a coach, I believe every player deserves an individualized development plan, honest communication, and an environment where they feel supported, challenged, and motivated to improve. My mission is to help athletes maximize their potential, grow both on and off the field, and turn their baseball dreams into reality.

Alex leads strength and conditioning at The Armyard, building programs that develop the power, mobility, and durability athletes need to throw harder, hit for more power, and stay healthy through a long season.

Tyler is a pitching coach at The Armyard, working hands-on with athletes to refine mechanics, sharpen their arsenal, and build the consistency that translates from the bullpen to the mound.
My baseball journey started as an undersized player who was cut from my high school team. I went on to play JUCO baseball, where I was primarily known for my defense and hit just .200 my freshman year.
The following year, I began growing into my body, developing as a hitter, and raised my average to .400. I eventually became a .350 hitter at the Division III level and completely turned my career around.
Throughout my career, I took millions of swings, but I learned that simply putting in work wasn't enough. Once I began training with purpose and having intent behind every swing, I started seeing the results I knew I was capable of. I also began pitching in college, going from the low 80s at JUCO to topping out at 91 mph in my final year.
In my final college season, we won the conference championship, and I was named Conference Tournament MVP after throwing 8⅔ innings, allowing 0 earned runs on 5 hits with 6 strikeouts. I also went 8-for-23 with 3 walks, 3 doubles, and 3 RBIs. I continued my baseball career at the semi-professional level in the Empire Professional Baseball League and am still pursuing opportunities to advance my career.
